Nowadays, loudspeakers are being used indiscriminately during open gatherings, religious festivals, wedding ceremonies, and picnics. This creates a great nuisance and leads to severe noise pollution. Such loud and continuous sounds disturb peace-loving citizens, the sick, the elderly, students, and children. Many find themselves helpless amid this unbearable noise, which also causes headaches, hearing problems, and loss of concentration.
I think public awareness is urgently needed to regulate such careless use of loudspeakers. Therefore, I request you to publish a leading article on this issue so that the government or concerned authority may take appropriate steps at the earliest.
